Col d'Argentiere

3/20/2012

Today I have been working for Mountain Spirits. The Austrians like walking so today we went for a tour up in the Argentiere basin. With all the snow that came yesterday it could be nothing but good.

The snow was a bit wind effected at the top but became lighter as we got further down.

Col d'Aregentiere (3550m) is on the lookers left up in the Argentiere basin. After having skied down on the backside from Grands Montets top station its about 3 km walking on the Argentiere glacier and then about 900 vertical meters up. It took us about 3.5 hours to reach the col.

I can highly recommed this tour. Its good skiing and very sceninc
