Col des lacs Noirs

Today I have been working for Mountain Spirits. Me, Hugo, Marcus and Jason explored the backside of Brevant. It started with a small hike up to Col du lac Corun. From here we skied north facing aspects toward lac Cornu. It was a thin layer of crust but still nice and soft. After about 200 meters vertical we put the skins on and started the ascend to col des lacs Noirs. It’s a pleasant walk with one of the most amazing scenery’s in the valley.  The plan for the day was to ski south facing aspects in hope for some soft spring snow.

After a relaxing lunch at the col des lacs Noirs the descent was waiting for us. It starts with a steep step where I put up a rope for Hugo, Marcus and Jason to use as a handrail. After that we had 1000 meter vertical of perfect spring snow!

Thanks guys for a great day
