Alpine rock climbing

Picture
Most of the Mont Blanc massif is made out of granite. This makes it one of the best alpine rock climbing areas in the world.  The intricate infrastructure of roads and lifts provides you easy access to remote and pristine wilderness.

If you don’t have the motivation, time or money to go on a long climbing expedition to a faraway land of granite heaven but you are still dreaming of big alpine granite routes, then Chamonix is the place for you.

When you arrive in Chamonix you can begin climbing immediately. No long walk-ins, no acclimatization, just  fun. Chamonix has climbing opportunities for all levels of skill, but our trips generally accommodate those comfortable climbing a French grade 5 and above. We arrange everything from daytrips to week-long climbing camps.

The guide fee is 350 Euros per day, max 2 people per guide.

Sport climbing

Picture
Southern Europe is a gold mine for sport climbers offering both first class single pitch crags and top quality multi-pitch crags.  The many limestone cliffs in the southern region of France made it the birthplace of sport climbing. Spain is the future of the sport with new super crags that attract world class athletes. Italy also has high quality limestone cliffs all over the country, and the fine local food and culture makes it a favorite climbing destination.

We arrange long weekends and full week sport climbing trips all year around in Southern Europe, where we will take you to the best suited crag for that season and your level. On these trips we will climb unforgettable multi-pitch routes and push our self on world class single pitch crags. We will work on your technique and help you build mental strength.

Prices vary depending upon the destination and the size of the group. Max 6 people per group.

Matterhorn

Picture
The Matterhorn was climbed for the first time in 1865 by Edward Whymper, making it one of the last great Alpine peaks to be conquered. Its first accent marked the end of the golden age of alpinism. Ever since that day, the Matterhorn has been highly sought after by expert climbers and mountaineers.

Today, the Matterhorn has been made fairly accessible in comparison to when Edward Whymper climbed it, with huts and lifts. However, the mountain and the climbing remain the same.

In order to climb the Matterhorn, you have to be in good physical shape and have relevant experience of alpine climbing. If you are unsure about your fitness level and/or experience, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Prices: 2 people for a 6-day expedition; 2100 Euro

Mont Blanc

Picture
We offer 6-day expedition for climbers that want to climb Mont Blanc with a UIAGM qualified mountain guide. Mont Blanc is a physical challenge rather than a technical one. The highest peak is 4,808 m, making the oxygen level at the top only 2/3 of the oxygen level at sea level. The day of the top accent you must be physically capable of trekking for about 10-14 hours. This is equivalent to running a marathon at sea level.

Mont Blanc is technically a relatively easy mountain to climb, but it can be quit dangerous. Collapsing seracs, avalanches, rock falls and high winds are the main hazards. These risks can never be eliminated, but they can be radically reduced by an experienced Mountain guide. Our guides will guarantee you the safest possible conditions.

We offer a 6-day expedition that will allow you to climb various peaks in order to warm-up for Mont Blanc, while also allowing your body to acclimatize. The grand finale will be you on top of Mont Blanc, surrounded by space and beauty on top of one of the most pristine peaks in France.

Prices: 1200 Euro for groups of 2-4 people
